Julie leads our strategic communications function. She is a leader with more than 25 years of experience in communications, marketing and public affairs, Prior to joining Aledade Julie oversaw the healthcare portfolio as Managing Director at GMMB, a full service communications agency, where she worked with a variety of clients to expand access to health coverage, lower prescription drug prices and advance delivery system reform. She served as the Communications Director for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) during implementation of the Affordable Care Act where she was responsible for all public education and outreach efforts including Medicare and Marketplace annual open enrollment periods as well as the Children’s Health Insurance Program. Prior to her work at CMS Bataille served as the Communications Director at Georgetown University for a decade and in political communications roles on Al Gore’s presidential campaign and in the Clinton Administration. A native Delawarean, she began her career as an aide to then Senator Joe Biden. Julie serves as an appointed member of the Virginia Health Benefit Exchange Advisory Committee. She graduated with honors from Syracuse University and lives in McLean, VA with her husband and four children.
